Thank-you

Music Geek Monthly would like to say a very big thank-you to all our supporters and sponsors. All our events are free, and it is purely down to the kindness & generosity shown by our sponsors (and Andrew’s enthusiasm!) that allows us to put Music Geek events on at no cost.

So, first and foremost, thank-you to Chapter Arts Centre for hosting us; our regular meet takes place at Chapter’s Media Point and our listening event takes place in Cinema 2. Without your support we wouldn’t have a home - and what a home it is! We’re extremely appreciative of the use of the technical kit and for the professional and friendly atmosphere that Chapter lends to our gatherings. We simply can’t thank-you enough.

Thanks ever-so also to Gwdihw for hosting our film events. These compliment our regular nights beautifully, and we’re very grateful to Gwdihw for providing us with a cosy little nest where we can watch our films.

We’d also like to thank Spillers Records for its support by way of the Music Geek discount provided at the store. It’s an endorsement that we’re very proud of here at MGM HQ.

Swn have been very kind to Music Geek too. A massive thank-you goes to John Rostron and the team for their prize donations for our raffles. It really makes a different to the quality of our prizes!

We’d also like to give belated formal thanks to our old home, Cardiff Arts Institute. We really enjoyed meeting there and are very grateful to Spike and the rest of the old CAI team for its very generous support when we were starting out. 

And finally, huge thanks to all the amazing labels for sending us lots of lovely new music to devour at our get-togethers - we really appreciate your support and generosity.
